Author Information

Each presenting author will be required to register and pay for the conference by no later than 30 May 2026 to ensure their submission(s) are included in the final Conference program. Authors who do not register by the deadline will be removed from the Conference program.

All Conference submissions accepted for the #MMIRA Global 2026 Conference program can be made available to delegates in the electronic Conference proceedings. Abstracts ONLY will be published in the Conference Proceedings. There is no opt-out for the publication of abstracts. Attendance and presentation of at least one author is mandatory for abstract inclusion in the conference proceedings.

The Conference proceedings have an DOI and clearly indicate that all refereed submissions were double-blind peer reviewed. Please note that the copyright of the Conference proceedings belongs to MMIRA2026, while the copyright of the individual submissions belongs to the authors.

General Policies and Requirements

  • All submissions for presentation at #MMIRA2026 must contain original research that has not been previously presented or scheduled for presentation, published or accepted for publication, and, if under review, must not appear in print before the conference.
  • Acknowledgement of relevant prior research and sources of works, ideas and data is expected.
  • Authorship and credit should be shared in proportion to the various parties’ contributions. Note: The authorship of submissions must be correct when submitted, as changes cannot be made once the submission is accepted for publication in the Conference program and proceedings.
  • A submission can only be presented in one Conference Theme. Authors are asked to signal their preferred and secondary Conference Theme.
  • On the left on its title page and the first page of the (anonymous) main text, each submission must state the requested Theme (number and name).
  • At least one author of each submission accepted for presentation in the Conference program must register for the conference to present their research.
  • An individual can appear in up to three sessions of the refereed conference (as presenter, co-author, session chair or facilitator). This is to encourage greater participation and to avoid individuals appearing to dominate a Theme or segment of the Conference program.
  • During the conference, a climate of free exchange and constructive feedback is encouraged. It is also important to demonstrate respect for colleagues/presenters with different perspectives and methodologies/methods.
